MGP exhibited once again at the World Food Market as principle sponsors of the halal food section. After last years successful WFM event, MGP have once again shown their dedication & support for the halal food industry by providing discounted advertising rates for exhibitors. Rizwan Hussain a well known face on many Muslim TV stations gave out signed copies of MGP directories at Novembers GPU peace event. Rizwan Hussain is a supporter of the project as he also has stared in a TV commercial by MGP (not yet aired). A large crowd gathered as he gave out copies of MGP to the public. Again MGP attended the GPU peace event in November to promote the coming launch of their 2008 edition of the Muslim Green Pages business directory. MGP 08 is said to be numbering over 150,000 copies almost a 50% increase from the inaugural edition in 2007. In addition, 130,000 copies are said to be going direct to Muslim households nationwide with the remaining copies being distributed through Mosques, supermarkets and Muslim retail outlets. To promote the 2008 edition at the peace event MGP had a Ferrari 360 Spider coloured lime green with messages such as 'Get your business moving with Muslim Green Pages' and 'The speed of your response with Muslim Green Pages'. Many businesses had said to have signed up for the 2008 edition at the peace event where the majority of businesses had already signed up for the 2008 edition before the peace event.
